Having 226 points over 102 games, Sathsara leapt from being behind earlier in the tournament with a series of good winning streaks, broken consistently by r2300, the second place finisher. There were no cheaters caught playing the tournament.

Supposedly retired Racing Kings legend made an appearance in the Racing Kings Shield this month! Grandmaster BlunderPandaZz, as of now a very strong 2300 rated player, has finally returned! The big question is, will we see him in this year's Racing Kings WC? Along with BlunderPandaZz, QueenEatingDragon has come out of his temporary retirement, and as of now has a solid 2500 rating. It is confirmed that he has registered for the WC. That being said, 2024's edition of the Racing Kings World Championships will begin July! Registrations can be found here, and end the 7th. Additionally, Racing Kings superstar CyberShredder has become leader of Lichess Racing Kings, and as a result, the team is now holding it's own hourly Racing Kings tournaments in addition to the usual ones. Speaking of new tournaments, a team message by FS-Schach reveals that "Variant Revolutions will most likely happen this year again, starting somewhen in September."
