Racing Kings Shield Winner:
NilSeWon, a strong 2300, won this month's Shield, defeating OSCARSM80 and panagiskosmatos. He won his second Shield with 250 points over 79 games! Additionally, he won with 99% berserk rate, and a win rate of 73% against an average opponent of 2146 rating. Overall, he performed like a 2400 player, a truly outstanding performance, but not as good as the best Shield performance of all time.
In April, james126 won the Shield, and in May, NilSeWon won the Shield.

RKWC has been announced! Sign up here. Registrations close July 14, 2025, at 12:00 UTC. Don't know what UTC time is? Here's a time converter. Top players who have signed up so far are bijiy, AtoAntRac, QueenEatingDragon, CyberShredder, Walker_22, and OLLiEparker. Don't fact check that last name, take my word for it. My prediction is that QED is defeating CyberShredder in the finale, but it's honestly much too early to tell. The leaderboard is looking unfazed since I last checked, with CyberShredder and seth_777 leading per usual. Things get interesting as Arjan_chess2 reaches 2300 once again, giving us flashbacks to last year's RKWC. Seth has made a Racing Kings Youtube channel. Make sure to check it out for instructive videos. sachmaty8, an ancient Racing Kings player from 2018, and the 2019 RKWC Runner-Up, has returned to Racing Kings, and competitive play, signing up for the RKWC this year! Good luck sachmaty8! With this game, seth_777 joins RoyalManiac, CyberShredder, bijiy, and QueenEatingDragon in the 2500 club! This is a historic feat! Congratulations!

With seth_777 joining the 2500 club on June 30th, I have to give the Player of the Month title to Seth. Many of you might not realize the significance of this rating milestone, but only 5 players have ever made it this far, without cheating, and only one player has ever made the 2600 milestone. Along with this, Seth took home 3 Daily Racing Kings crowns.

panagiskosmatos won the KOTH (King of the Hill) Shield? Congratulations! Ranked only 2000, Pana secured his first KOTH Shield win before a Racing Kings Shield win! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he is the lowest rated player ever to win a KOTH Shield.
