ChessAnalysisChess PersonalitiesOver the boardTournament
Magnus Carlsen is back playing classical chess in this very strong close tournament where Erdogmus make his debut with 2700 and Abdusattorov ad Van Foreest are looking for his second triumph in Sweeden. Grandelious(Sweeden top1) Erigaisi(world top10) Zhu Jiner (Top1 Women) and the youngstar Andy Woodward complete the rooster of this amazing tournament.

Race in the Dragon

Grandelius surprised Erigaisi with the dragon but they reached a very sharp pawn race with some advantaje for Arjun and the Indian Master converted it so well into a full point.

Woodward try 5.Rg1 but without know theory cause he start to think in just the 6th move to be wors with white moves later, i think that if you didnt have any idea well prepare vs the philidor the best idea is just make the normal development with Bc4 0-0 a4 Be3 h3...

Now we have 5 leaders!!! Apart of Argun and Erdogmus who take the point in this round Magnus Carlsen won the only decisive game of the second round and in the first one Woodward and Abdusattorov won thanks to a pawn blunder of his opponents. I analized all the games in the first 2 rounds if you want to watch it R1 Analysis R2.
For today maybe the most interestinng game could be Abdu vs Erigaisi so lets se if someone could take 3/4 points, by.
