Play and Analyze is enough to Improve???
For the next 10 days i going to make an experiment of play 10 games each day and just after the game analyze it to improve mi chess and try to gain some online bliz rating in this period. This could work??
Is more less obvious that if we want to improve in any sport we should mostly play but chess is a little bit special.
I watch people who plays many tournaments and they spent all their lives with the same rating and this is basically cause they don't analyze their own games.
Of course there are many more ways to improve in chess like make tactics, read books, practice endgames and many more but if i just can make one thing to improve 100% i'll chose the sistem of play and analyze our games.
Old and successful technique
Im not inventing anything, many top grand masters said that the own analysis is the most important, here you have some examples:
Artur Yusupov
“I consider that analysis of one’s own games is the main method by which a chess-player can improve.”
Lev Polugaevsky
“Nevertheless, the analysis of games still remains for me the most important thing.”
Garry Kasparov
“Self-improvement in chess is impossible without analysis.”
See you in 10 days
Now i have 2605 in online blitz, i going to play 100 games and lets see how much i can increase my rating just playing and analyzing in 10 days, the follwoing image show my actual rating,my progress in the last 3 months and my peak rating, in 10 days i will came with a new rating and probaly a new peak rating , my progression and the best games of this 100, bye bye.
