Playing the Semana Santa Open in Alicante!!!! pt1
After play in Reykjavik i returned to spain to play another very hard tournament and in this post i going to analyze the first part of event.Lossing 2 flights
From Reykjavik i flew to Oslo to take another flight the next morning to Alicante, the first travel to Oslo goes normal but the next morning the guys of the plane didnt let me get the fly cause the overbooking, at least the gave me 400$ and a ticket for 4 hours latter but this means that i will lost the first round, at least i was in time to take a bye and recive half a point. Cirious that the fly that they gave me to conpensate this was cancell so i bought the last ticket from a late fly that evening with escale in another city of Norway to can play the second 2 in Alicante but i finally arrive in alicnte after spend the full day in airports.
Round 2. Ruiz Buendia,M vs Maza Lopez,S
Bad game to start but ok i take to point who in the first round is the most important. in the evening i had a hard Indian opponent and in a 1h fast prepation i managed to make 18 theoretycal moves.
Round 3. Kavin,V vs Ruiz Buendia,M
The move 21 was the key, there i overestimated the attacking chances o my opponent and i forced the draw with 21...a3 instead of go for the natural Ra5
Bd3 vs Najdorf works again. Ruiz Buendia vs Woods R4
Like 2 rouds ago i repeat an opening idea that i first employed in the catalan league with victory and samely that with the carokan with Be3 i managed to with in my second experience too with this line.
IM Fiorito,J vs FM Ruiz Buendia,M Round 5
And for second day i a row we had double round so i havent time to prepare the afternoon game, and i dont remember the theory of this line in the Nimzo.
Great start with 4/5 with just 1 draw and the bye of the first round, tomorrow i going to post the second part of the tournament so follow me to see if i still winning or i start to fall, byby.
