Runner-up of Castilla la Mancha Rapid Championship

The last year i was playing the same tournament and i finished fifth in the rapid section and in the blitz i just get the half of the points, horrible of course. This year i played a better chess and i get good result in boths, in this post i going to anlayze the rapid tournament played in the morning with better prizes.

Round 2. Trying a new Opening

I always open my games with 1.e4 but for this 2 tournaments i prepared the colle sistem.

Round 3.

The opening was the same as versus Faustino Oro 2 weeks ago, but my opponent played worse of course than Faustino and i got a winning position early. Analysis game vs Faustino

Round 4. Only Loss

Its incredible that1 month ago i lost the same position but with black and this time i cannot understand the position with white too.

Round 5. The Comeback Starts

After reach a winning position in the opening i started to sacrifice pawns without necesity falling into a losing position that i save thanks to a tactic

Round 6. Winning a Lost Position Again

Round 7. People's Champ

In the last round i faced the leader who is 1 point ahead the rest so my options was win this game and hope that the tiebreaks benefits me cause in the second board both players had my points and i have the worst tiebreak entering into the last round. But i just should won and the rest is not my job so lets see the game.

I made my job very well and all my opponents won in the last round but i finished half point on tiebreaks behind the guy that i crush in the last round. I beat the champion but ok i deserved the second place by my lost in the fourth round.

I earned 200€ and a trophy, the same day after the lunch we played the blitz Championship with less prizes but more emotion, i going to post this tournament tomorrow so follow my to see what happened, byby.
