After a group stage with full victories in quarterfinals Russia faces Uzbekistan who is a country with a great Men's national team (2022 olimpiad winners) and the womens team was good but not top top so Russia outplayed them in both matches 3.5-0.5. Russia repeated the same line-up of the quarterfinals with Goryachkina Lagno and Shuvalova playing the both games and in the board 4 Garifullina played the first game and Shukhman the second.

Final vs Azerbaijan

After a perfect tournament with a perfect score of 9 matches and 9 victories they shoulded finish the job vs the strong team of Azerbaijan who they eliminated Kazahstan in the tiebreaks the previuos day. In the first 3 boards Russia repeated with Goryachkina Lagno and Shuvalova but for the final day they decided to keep Leya Garifullina in the fouth board during the 2 matches, strategy who became decisive at the end.
The first match was more less confortable with 2 draws with black and winning the 2 white games.

They only needed 1 more good match to be world champions and this time Leya Garifullina made the job winning his game and the other 3 Russian masters played solid and they won the match 2.5-1.5 ending the tournament with a perfect score of 11/11 with Polina Shuvalova being the mvp with 9.5/10 points but great job of the 6 womens so congratulations to Russia i'm happy to see again a russian team in a chess competition cause there are great players in this country who have 0 relantionship with what the politicians make and they deserve to play chess team competitions and the chess fans deserved to see them, so nothing more to say here i give us the decisive victory of Garifullina and congratulations again to Russia.
