Fortun£ Friday$ December Edition Prize Winners Announcement

Our eighth free-to-play December Edition and 16th Edition of the Fortun£ Friday$ Series saw 217 players from 52 countries participate! We had some of the world’s top titled players competing in the event, including 6 GMs, 8 IMs, 16 FMs, 8 CMs, and over 175 non-titled players.

The event was won by @shootingstar10, an anonymous account representing France, with an impressive bullet rating of over 3100. Speculation suggests it could be a famous French Grandmaster, possibly MVL—but who knows? Maybe they're not even from France. Who do you think it might be?

Second place went to CM Georgijs Germanovs (@evilhamburger), who played a fantastic tournament, finishing ahead of many titled players.

Third place was claimed by FM Novozhilov Semyon (@Novozhilov_Semyon), another lower-rated titled player who achieved remarkable victories against several GMs.

Thank you to all players for your continued support of our ever-growing Coatsi Chess community. We are honoured to welcome some of the world's strongest chess players to our monthly events and to offer a tournament series that all players can join, regardless of chess rating or ability.

Following our anti-cheating scans, conducted by our world-leading FIDE International Arbiter, we are pleased to announce the prize winners listed below.

The final standings of the event can be viewed here.
