Fortun£ Friday$ June Edition Prize Winners

Our first-ever free-to-play June edition was very well supported by our growing community! We had some of the top chess grandmasters and other titled players in the world participating in the event. We had representation from over 35 countries, including 3 GMs, 6 IMs, 7 FMs, 4 CMs, and over 100 non-tilted players.

The event was won by Indian Grandmaster Guha Mitrabha, currently the 30th best player in India, with a classical chess rating of 2545 as of 1/7/24. Second place went to Russian International Master Alexandr Ulanov, a very strong IM with a current classical rating of 2463. Third place went to Russian FIDE Master, now playing under the Armenian flag, Gor Glidzhyan.

We are honoured at Coatsi Chess to welcome some of the world's strongest chess players to our monthly events.

Following our anti-cheating scans conducted by our world-leading FIDE international arbiter, we are pleased to announce the prize winners as mentioned below.

Looking Ahead: The July Edition is Our Second Ever Free-to-Play Cash Prize Event!

We are thrilled to announce that we are continuing our July edition to be free to play. Players just need to join our Discord server which can be found here to receive the passcode to join the event. The passcode will always be displayed in the event-passcodes channel within the Fortun£ Friday$ Information category which can be viewed on the left hand side.
