Fortun£ Friday$ March Edition won by Dutch Grandmaster!

Our tenth free-to-play March edition was a highly competitive event, attracting 180 players from 55 countries! The tournament featured some of the world’s top titled players, including 8 Grandmasters (GMs), 9 International Masters (IMs), 9 FIDE Masters (FMs), 5 Candidate Masters (CMs), and over 145 non-titled players.

Dutch Grandmaster Thomas Beerdsen emerged victorious, finishing with 100 points, just ahead of a player on an anonymous account who finished in second place with 99 points.

This marked the 19th edition of the Fortun£ Friday$ series.

Top 3 Finishers

First PlaceGM Thomas Beerdsen (@MeneerMandje) – This marks his first-ever Fortun£ Friday$ title after competing in several editions, finishing on 100 points!

Second Place – A very strong titled anonymous player with a bullet rating of over 3050+, competing under the handle (@strongbulletplayer1), finished just behind Thomas with 99 points.

Third Place – Another very strong titled anonymous player with a bullet rating of over 3000+, competing under the username (@SpongeBob-Patrick), secured third place with 95 points.
