Fortun£ Friday$ - May Edition Won by Indonesian International Master!

Our twelfth free-to-play May edition was a highly competitive event, attracting 207 players from over 60 countries! The tournament featured some of the world’s top titled players, including 4 Grandmasters (GMs), 8 International Masters (IMs), 8 FIDE Masters (FMs), 4 Candidate Masters (CMs), 1 National Master (NM), and over 180 non-titled players.

Indonesian International Master Yoseph Theolifus Taher emerged victorious, finishing with 98 points and an impressive 2694 performance rating. This marked the 21st edition of the Fortun£ Friday$ series.

Top 3 Finishers

First Place – IM Yoseph Theolifus Taher (@yoseph2013) - This marks his first-ever Fortun£ Friday$ title!

Second Place – IM Alexandr Triapishko (@AlexTriapishko) - A strong Russian IM who went on a 7-game winning streak before the end of the tournament, finishing on 92 points.

Third Place – PrisonBreak_Michael (@PrisonBreak_Michael) - An anonymous player who also finished on 92 points, but was placed third based on tiebreak scores
