Fortun£ Friday$ October Edition Prize Winners

Our sixth-ever free-to-play October edition and 14th edition of the Fortun£ Friday$ series saw 124 players from 38 countries participate! We had some of the world’s top chess grandmasters and other titled players competing in the event, including 4 GMs, 6 IMs, 8 FMs, 6 CMs, and over 100 non-titled players.

The event was won by @BetterCollSoul, making history as the first untitled player to win the series in back-to-back months. He has chosen to remain anonymous and does not wish to have his details shared.

Second place went to the super-strong Candidate Master Bhavesh Mahajan @innocentguy from India, with a FIDE rating of only 2047 in classical chess.

Third place was claimed by Czechia’s International Master Jakub Pulpan @greennight, who holds a FIDE blitz rating far above IM strength at 2518, showcasing great potential to become a grandmaster soon.
