Analysis
In this game featuring the Petrov Defense, White seized control right from the opening phase by exploiting Black's early positional mistake 3... Bd6?! with the energetic central push 6. d4!, maintaining sharp tactical vision throughout the middle game by capturing material with 8. Bxb5!, expanding on the queenside through 11. b4!, and striking with 12. d5! to force the defending knight away after Black attempted an unsound sacrifice with 12... Nxb4??, White calmly recaptured with 13. cxb4, exploited the pinned knight on f6 with 14. e5! to win even more material, and simplified the position via 15. Bxf6! to shatter Black's pawn structure permanently; following the queen exchange on e2, white displayed great positional patience by walking the king safely to f1 to eliminate potential rook checks, consolidated the kingside pawn chain with 26. g4!, opened direct lines of attack through 27. h4 and 29. g5!, and ultimately punished Black's back-rank oversight 30... Kf8?? to deliver a picturesque and forcing checkmate wit 31. Rh8#.
Furthermore, White's ability to maintain a continuous initiative prevented Black from ever coordinating their remaining pieces effectively during the transition to the endgame
