Memorizing Solutions.

A short introduction on how to learn and improve by simply using solutions, learning and solving over and over again until your brain 'gets it'.

How best can one improve their knowledge and understanding of Chess?

This is a question that baffles the minds of many individuals, and at some point, I used to have the same question. So I went on a little journey in an attempt to find the most efficient strategies that I could employ, one of which was the SOLUTIONS strategy. I call it that because what it entails is this:
1. Attempt a difficult puzzle.(solve without cracking your brain)
2. Learn the solution.(Very easy step this)
3. Redo the puzzle.

I later discovered that this is something largely resembling the woodpecker method, but since I've never gone through that course, I cannot say with absolute certainty that it is. So what I would do was use ChessKing(free app on the Play Store) and just keep solving every puzzle, got about 70% of them wrong, but the whole idea was to just learn the solution.

How is this helpful:
1. If the idea required is not in your satchel, there's a zero chance you're going to solve it, might as well learn the idea first.
2. It reduces the strain on your brain and allows you to store the information directly to your prefrontal cortex or whichever part of the brain this information is stored.

I've attached a study that has difficult positions, and all you have to do is learn the position and then keep solving it. It's got 10 puzzles, so it should be fun. Enjoy.
