First OTB Team Tournament of the year

Over the board
Hello readers, writers and players! Good days for you. I joined a team tournament at 11-12th of February and we represented our school. Some of us couldn't play so good. But they did great job. I will show the matches I win in this blog.

OTB Team Tournament

Actually, that's a tournament between schools. We became 17th school at 22 schools. That's not a great score. But, we did amazing things at individual ranking. I only losed the first round. Then I got motivated and I won the other matches. My another friend became 28th player at 112 players. And I became Istanbul 1st Area 5th Player. I did 5/6 and that's a very good score. If I make a draw at the first round, I could be 3rd or 4th. So let's look to the matches I won.

Round 2: Dangerous pin

https://lichess.org/study/6drWDI3o/4RPuyOFO

That's the first match I won.
In the 25th move, he played Nc6??. He gave away a free knight. And I took it.
I pinned the rook to the king and played the only move; Re8! at the 26th and 27th moves. You can look to Chess-Results to find my other matches. But I will show you them.
I played Rexc2+!? in 29th move. I can't see the mate. My brain said "If you promote the pawn, you win." I can't promoted. But he resigned.

Round 3: Long endgame

https://lichess.org/study/6drWDI3o/px4s2rAo

In this match, we played a very long endgame. In my opinion, we entered the endgame in the 21st move but the match finished at the 60th move.
I skewered him at the 48th move and I won the endgame easily after that.
I sacrificed a pawn at the 47th move too with playing h4!!. He took and ate the skewer. This match finished with a resign too.

Round 4: 2 HOURS?!

https://lichess.org/study/6drWDI3o/cpVU8FTz

Yes, you didn't read the heading wrong. I played this match for two hours. I did 2 rook sacrifices, many mistakes too. But everyone makes mistakes.
First sacrifice comes with Bd6!!. I did a counter-attack to his queen and skewer it too. So he played Qf7 and I played Rd1 at 19th and 20th moves.
The second sacrifice comes with b8=Q!!. He played a3 before but, who looks to it when you can make a queen? So I did a queen and he took it then I took back. It's at the 45th move.
One sacrifice too but, it's not a sacrifice because I must do it. At the 48th move, I took a2 with the rook but if I didn't take it, he will promote it to a queen.

Round 5: Who looks to this pin?

https://lichess.org/study/6drWDI3o/69H20wXl

Let's analyze.
In the 14th move, I played the only winning move, Qa4!. She played c6 and I became one pawn up.
I sacrificed my knight at the 25th move. If she took it, I will play Qg3+ and if she plays Kf8, exf6 is winning.
At the 28th move, I sacrificed it again! Qh7 wants mate at the g8 square but she saw it and didn't take it.
So, I won in the end but, I think you will laugh too much in the next match:)

Round 6: The King's Comedy

I can't show you this match because my opponent losed because of the illegal moves he did.
In the 7th, yes the 7th (you didn't read wrong), he played Kd1.
Than he castled at the 11th move. And he touched the clock. I think bro don't knows how to castle.
So the arbiter wrote KDH-1 (we say it "Kural Dışı Hamle" in our language). So he played Ke1 because he touched to king. But, at the 15th move, he castled again :D! Bro shouldn't play chess.
Arbiter wrote KDH-2 and the match finished.
So that's my question: What will you feel if you play with that opponent?
Don't forget to write it to the forum!

End

So, I had a great tournament. I gained experience. So that's my and my friend's who became 28th scores:
Me (@Kaan_Burak): 5/6
Yusuf (@Yusuf_kerem123): 3/6
