The Basics of the Hawk Gambit
The Hawk Gambit begins with the following moves:
e4 c6
d4 d5
f3 e5
dxe5 Bc5
In this opening, Black plays 3... e5 to immediately challenge the center and sacrifices a pawn in the process. The move 4... Bc5 aims to increase pressure on White’s position.
The Main Line of the Hawk Gambit
Here is the main line of the Hawk Gambit:

f3 e5
dxe5 Bc5
Nc3 Qb6
Na4 Bf2+
Ke2 Qd4
