My Immortal Game
I sacrificed 13 points of material throughout a game I recently played and scored up to 97% accuracy and 2750 performance rating. To make this game even more special, this is also my best win.This is my best game yet.
I was rated 2254 back then and I was paired up with a 2340. We went down the Advanced French and entered a positionally and tactically rich line where the kingside is a wild battle field. I sacrificed two pawns, a knight, a bishop, a rook along the way leading to a beautiful checkmate. More inspiring, the entire game was decided on a quiet bishop standing on the edge of the board that did not move throughout the entire middlegame. Here is the breakdown:
