3 check guide: 10 rules to play better

AnalysisChessChess variantLichess
If you want to be better in 3+ you should know this rules.

Hello friends!
I am pretty good 3 check player (not everyone will agree, but ok) and I got a lot of messages from Lichess players to help them in this variant.
There're top 10 rules which you should know. Welcome!

1. If you are under 1800 player - DON'T play by theory, because everyone will knows it better.

2. If you play white - attack, if black you should defend very good and safely. For example, g6-bg7-kf6 is good system.

3. If your opponent do pre-move on 2-nd move - try this variant for black - 1. e4 e6 2. Nc3 Qh4 3. Nf3 Qxf2+ 4. Kxf2 Bc5+ 5. Ke2 Nc6 6. Ke1 Bf2+

4. If you do not see a win of the game or its improvement - DO NOT give up pieces for checks.

5. In most cases it is better to check the king first with light pieces, and then with rook and queen.

6. I'm NOT advice to play 1. d4? because you will lose temps for 2. c3
after 1...e5.

7. The best moves is 1. e4/kf3/e3 - use them.

  1. DO NOT allow your opponent to check you by Bxh7+, after 0-0.

  2. DO NOT play like classical chess, if your opponent plays 1. e4 - don't play e5, this move have a lot of theory.

  3. DO NOT be afraid to change pieces, even if you take it will be check. It is not always dangerous.

I hope this rules will help you to improve :)

Let's do likes! There will be other variants rules later!

Thanks for reading, good luck in games!!
