This is why I think that online chess (particularly Lichess) is so much better than OTB
1. You don't have to hit the timer after playing a move. 2. You don't need to worry about accidentally touching a piece. 3. It is much harder to psychologically intimidate players. 4. Bullet and faster time formats are possible. 5. Your opponent can't switch pieces on the board while you're looking away if they are in a losing position. 6. You get paired instantly. 7. You can play whenever and wherever you want. 8. You can immediately analyze your game with Stockfish after you have finished playing. 9. You can't drop pieces. 10. There is no need for an arbiter. 11. You can always ragequit.
This is probably only the tip of the iceberg. I hope you all get that #5 and #11 were jokes ;)
