Racing Knights - A bit of chess curiosity
I like knights that are unexpectedly going to the back rankThree days ago I was looking deeper at a variation from a Lichess puzzle and was amazed about a Stockfish suggestion. Nf6-g8! Very beautiful. It frees up the diagonal a1-h8 with tempo attacking the black queen on h6.

Today I was doing exercises on Chessable and it showed a variation in a game Lasker-Blackburne, Hastings, 1895. Nf3-g1! A very pretty move. It attacks the rook on e2 and is ready to sacrifice on h3.

A white knight going from f6 to g8, and a black knight going from f3 to g1, that cannot be a coincidence and calls for sharing in a blog post ! :)
