His insightful YouTube lessons and calm, analytical commentary inspired countless players around the world to fall in love with the game.
A Grandmaster since 2013 and former World Youth Champion, Daniel combined deep understanding with rare humility. Whether streaming blitz games on Twitch or breaking down complex endgames, he had a unique ability to make chess feel personal and exciting for everyone.
His sudden passing leaves a huge void in the chess world. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, students, and the global community of fans he touched through his words, games, and teaching.
