Storefjell Day 7 - The Last Night
Tomorrow we have to go home :(Packing day is now upon us and we have to unmess the hotelroom so that other guests may check in tomorrow while we play our last game of the tournament. For Some of us even the last OTB game of the year.
Being more social than I am used to, I got to know more people, even though I don't remember all their names (or even any?). Those people are comfortable to hang out with and I don't feel as socially drained like I am used to. Chess people tend to be on similar wavelengths.
A Surprise Win
Long games don't usually happen to me, yet today I turned a win into a draw, then back into a win. With black!
Being Overrated in Blitz
The blitz tournament gave me three and a half wins (out of 11 or so). I wish I lost my first game, cause then the opponent could perhaps have made it further to the finals. I don't know how many points she needed, I just left as soon as I could.
Tomorrow
You can find me playing at board 6 half an hour earlier than before.
If I don't post anything tomorrow, I will hopefully be back to streaming on sunday.
Also be sure to follow dronningbrigaden on instagram and other places if you want news about norwegian women in chess.
Chess is even better when there are inspiring women out there to look up to.
