When you renew your USCF membership, make sure to enter your USCF number. If you don't do this, they will create a new account in your name, and it's a big hassle for everyone.

Also, the website asks you to choose a prefix, such as Mr., Mrs., etc. You don't have to pick one. I think it looks a little silly when I look up a rating and I see Mr. John Smith when it used to say John Smith.

For months, I thought these two things were USCF errors. It turns out that they are user errors, due to not following instructions.
