Marshall Weekly U1600 90+30 Round 3
Chess Experts: "Don't worry about openings." Chess Reality: One *inaccuracy* in the openning and you're completely lost. This felt like deja vu from my first round game. Another e4-e5 opening where one (very subtle!) mistake on move 6(!!) results in a small disadvantage that snowballs into a crushing defeat.
A year ago, I was losing on ridiculous blunders and ill-conceived sacrifices. Now 2 of the last 3 games, I'm losing on wrong pawn moves in the opening. Is this progress...?
