A tough lesson from 2200+
So what training must I do now?I did pin my hopes on this game – a stronger opponent, my favorite fighting opening system, the Classical Dutch. And things seemed to go well for the most part.
However, a stronger player usually wins. But what is it that makes them usually win? Is it a better opening repertoire, a natural talent, or greater concentration?
This game shows it clearly – whatever openings you have learned or master games you have seen, there is ONE thing behind probably 98% of losses.
