Week 1 Game analysis

Hi Everyone,

This post will be about the analysis of rapid games I played on Week 1.
As I'm a returner and a relatively slow player I chose to play 15|10 time control rapid games to allow myself room for thinking. I also believe there's much more opportunity to develop throughout slower time control games than blitzing, where I'm usually just trying to not loss on the clock.

So, on Week 1 I played 3 games - 2 losses and one win (where I got extremely lucky). Generally I feel I need to adjust to the clock, as in all games I was way behind the clock, and have no more than 2-3 mintues by the time we reached middle game - end of middle game. My openings also felt rusty and in some of the games I either confused my lines, and/or had no clear idea what to play for in the middlegame.

Analysing the games helped me understand the plans better. On adjusting to the time control I hope to get accustomed by having these games played each weekend.
