The 1º Grandiscacchi Cattolica International Tournament is part of the Italian Spring Chess Tour 2022 and will be held from 1st to the 8th of March in Cattolica, Italy. It features many titled players, playing for a price pool of 12.600€.

The Tournament features two categories; Open A for players with at least 1800 elo and Open B for players with less than 2000 elo, while players with rating 1800-1999 can decide if to play in Open A or B. This broadcast if for Open A.

Time Control is 90 minutes with an increment of 30 seconds, beginning from move one.
