Aimchess US Rapid is the 9th event of the Champions Chess Tour 2021. This stage features 8 players in a knockout format, which consist of two days of quarterfinals, two days of semifinals and then two days of finals.

Time control is 15 minutes for the whole game with a 10-second increment from move one.

Tie breaks: If the match score is tied at 1-1, two 5+3 games are then played. If still undecided an Armageddon game will be played, where White has 5 minutes to Black's 4, but a draw will count as a win for Black.

Dates: 28th August to 30th August (Preliminaries), 31st August to 5th September (Knockouts)
