New in Chess Classic is the 6th event of Meltwater Champion Chess Tour. The preliminaries event is a single round-robin and features 16 top players. Top 8 players from the preliminary will qualify for the knockout event. The time control is rapid, with 15 minutes and a 10 second increment per move.

Dates: 23th to 25th May (Preliminaries) , 26th to 31nd May (Knockout)
