The Vladimir Dvorkovich Memorial – Aktobe Open 2023 is held at Aktobe, Kazakhstan from June 20th to 27th. It is organized by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation and set up as a 9-round Swiss tournament. The tournament is the 2nd stage of the Kazakhstan Cup.

The total prize pool is 23,000,000 Kazakhstani tenge (equal to $50,000). GM Boris Savchenko was the winner of the Lichess Qualifier.

The time control is 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment per move, starting from move 1.
