The FIDE World Women’s Team Championship will be played in Knockout eliminations, and will take place from September 30th to October 2nd in Stiges, Spain. The Tournament will feature 8 female teams from all over the world representing their countries, all for a chance to progress to the Finals.

In the event of a tie teams will advance to a tie-break, each team will play a round of Blitz chess.

Knockout Time Controls:
Standard: Players will receive 45 minutes for the whole game with a 10-second increment from move one.

Blitz(Tie): Players will receive 3 minutes for the whole game with a 2-second increment from move one.
