About me
Playing experience
I started playing chess in 2003. As a junior, I won 3rd place at the Polish Youth Championships three times (2005, 2007, 2009). In 2019, I crossed the 2300 FIDE rating barrier and was awarded the FIDE Master title.
Teaching experience
I have been teaching chess since 2016. Most of my work is done with students from my chess club, where I conduct regular individual and group training sessions. In 2019, I became an officially certified chess instructor. I mainly work with ambitious juniors and adult players rated from 1400–2200 FIDE who want to improve their tournament performance and overall understanding of the game.
Besides teaching, I regularly prepare training materials and courses.

Other experiences
I hold a degree in Computer Science from the Jagiellonian University and work as a software developer. I also enjoy mountain hiking and I am a certified ski instructor. Also I am currently training for a marathon. Sport helps me understand the importance of endurance, consistency and mental resilience, which are essential in classical chess, where games often last several hours.
Best skills
As a player, one of my greatest strengths was defensive play and handling complicated positions with dynamic imbalances and unequal material. As a coach, I take a very flexible and holistic approach to training, working on all phases of the game - openings, middlegames and endgames - depending on the student’s needs. I place strong emphasis on understanding the student’s problems, including psychological and practical challenges, and adapting the training process accordingly. My lessons are calm, structured and focused, with clear goals and long-term improvement plans tailored to the student’s level and ambitions
Teaching methodology
I enjoy planning and analysing the training process and focus on long-term improvement combining serious training with an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere.
Each student is treated individually. Typical work includes analysis of the student’s games, targeted exercises in calculation, strategy and endgames based on identified weaknesses, as well as practical advice for tournament play.
