I’m Egor Lashkin, a Grandmaster from Moldova. I started playing chess at the age of 9, and over the years it has become a huge part of my life.
I’ve won the Moldovan Chess Championship in 2023 and 2024, represented my country at the European Team Championship, and played in the U16 Olympiad. In 2025, I also qualified for the FIDE Chess World Cup 2025, one of the strongest events in the world.
About me
Playing experience
I’ve actively participated in numerous events, both in-person and online, playing thousands of games and continuously learning from each one. I’ve competed in Titled Tuesday events, where I’ve achieved notable successes against top players such as MVL, Sarana, Abdussattorov, Grishuk, and Van Forest.
Teaching experience
I’ve been coaching for 5 years, working with players rated 1600–2400. I focus on how chess really works, not tricks or memorization.
With me, you’ll see the game differently — positions will start to make sense, mistakes stop repeating, and your thinking clicks. We identify the core problems, connect the dots, and build a clear process for every position so your decisions become natural and confident.

Best skills
My main strength is structured thinking.
I present everything in a clear, logical way — based on principles rather than memorization. Over the years, thousands of hours of reflection and critical thinking have shaped how I understand chess, and that’s what I pass on to my students.

Teaching methodology
I help players see chess differently — positions start to make sense, mistakes stop repeating, and everything clicks.
With each student, we:
1)Apply my principle-based, universal method to real games
2)Identify what’s missing in your play and why mistakes keep happening
3)Build a clear thinking process so you always know what to do
After working with me, you won’t just understand moves — you’ll understand chess itself and how to improve consistently.
