The engine recommends to play f5 as early as move 12 but I was scared about sacking the rook (it turns out it worked).

It is less fun if black plays ...d5.

Thank you for the great article @doughnut42! I'm keen to read about how you deal with e6 d5 as this punishes the bishop on c4 and an early a6 b5 which prevents Bc4. I'm grateful to my coach @alvinalcala who put me onto the Grand Prix Attack and has been instrumental to my rise from 1600 to 2000.

Is there any studio with prix attack to learn about it? Thanks

this looks very promising but in one of your games where exf5 was played, stockfish says that gxf5 is -0.8 for Black and imo the position also looks fairly comfortable for Black--I don't really see any way to attack well as White. Also, as @tpr mentioned, I'm a little scared of Black playing d5 at some point as it effectively undermines the entire point of this opening. What do I do to either prevent Black from playing d5 or to combat it when it happens? @doughnut42
