i mean can white stop stop the blockade in time , before trading of alot of stuff which makes it unlikely that white can checkmate with the help of the pawn storm .

i would guess not , maybe this is why g5 b4 is popular becuase both sides can create normal pawn storms without getting blocked by a knight or a pawn

Play it out a bunch of times against the engine from both sides - come to your own conclusions and maybe, just maybe, beyond all hope, learn something.

A single advancing pawn often ties down more material than its own value and it does not have to be a passed pawn. The real race in chess is not the clock, it's who succeeds in controlling the opponents material first. The player that gets cut by the blade, is not in control. They need the handle to control the game. So who is "holding" the initiative ?

"before trading of alot of stuff"
- There is nothing wrong with trading.
There is still a backward pawn on d6 and a hole on d5.

simplified i meant can white prevent the game from turning more positional after the knight blockade , i would guess no , in the h5 variation white also cant prevent it

"can white prevent the game from turning more positional"
- There is no reason to prevent that. The aim is to win, by whatever way.

one usually wants to play agressive in the english attack so i think its reasonable to think about if its possible to prevent black from turning it positional
