I admit doing it sometimes out of frustration. But anything can happen especially in bullet. I haven't done it a long time and it seems lost position but luckily I manage to get a win or a draw. Never resign :)

I sometimes resign when I blunder a central pawn without compensation.

I remember a tournament, I started strong with a fired liver attack, and I managed to destroy my opponent's defenses, but accidentally blundered my queen by moving it into a square defended by his bishop, I lost my queen, and the game was on streaming, I desperately continued playing, I managed after few moves to force a queen pin and won it back

There is such a thing as a successful Queen sacrifice, even fairly early in a game. (Bobby Fischer had one in his collection, My Sixty Memorable Games.) If the opponent has very low rating, I might play on for while to see if he makes an equal or even greater blunder. That does happen! But if I haven't got anything for it - no compensating attacking chance, something meaningful - then I will often resign.

Rage quit rather than resign a much more likely possibility.
