I had this a few weeks ago. Do not quit. Instead take a break for a few days or weeks and do other stuff that you enjoy to do and then come back to chess . To cure boredom, maybe learn some new openings that promise exciting and sharp positions like the Jobava London and use them in your games maybe.

Take a break from playing online chess; study chess instead. Endgames and chess strategy are probably what you need to learn in more detail.
Thanks for your advice

Work on other things in life

Work on other things in life

You should quit chess, but not for long

You should quit chess, but not for long

if you feel like chess is no longer so fulfilling, go ahead and stop, its ok. There are many other things in life that I'd argue is worth your time much more than chess.
