I got notification that four people I have reported in the last two weeks have been banned.

Is cheating really that prevalent? I was a bit surprised to see that. I only really thought (or knew) that one was cheating. Surprised to see so many.

Sooo, then they all cheated.

Did you reported everyone you lost to? How did you manage to find 4 in 2 weeks. I need to up my reporting game

I reported 5 people and 4 got banned. I am still shocked that so many people are cheating. I didn't think anyone actually cheated because what's the point?

it happens

Is there really that many cheaters? I guarantee they were all under 25 years old. That generation didn't learn a sense of fair play and honor and think that winning is all that matters. It's the Trump generation.

That's 1.2% of your games over the last two weeks. Not bad.

Now is the problem that reporting works, or that it doesn't work? I never understand which one it is.

Seldom read such nonsense.

No context given. You reported four in the last two weeks but how many games did you play? If it's out of thousands, it's only a blip. Is it only the last two weeks or do you regularly report a similar number? Are your suspicions reliable or do you report a lot more but only four get banned?

This is a kinda of a visibility paradox, a lose-lose situation.

If you don't ban any cheaters, it looks like you are not doing anything.
If you ban too many cheaters and notify the affected users, it looks like cheating is rampant in your platform.
