They know a thousand reasons not to do this.

Why don't people want to click this button?
Because clicking it means I have to actually think for more than 1 min ;p

actually think
No need to think. You need to click on any of your pieces and click on any green circle. Even a dosophila fly can do this.
Just do it.

i do. i used to play 15+10
i used to play 15+10
It's time to answer why I am against long controls.
I watched your game 15+10. You played Italy, put the bishop on c5 and forgot about it. Ten moves later, the opponent simply took this bishop without an attack and without combinations. There are still 13 minutes 40 seconds left on the clock. This indicates that the player is yawning. The player gives his pieces to his opponent. For free. The player does not yet know how to see attacks on his pieces. If the player has 10 minutes, he will not see the attack. If the player has 15 minutes, he will not see the attack. If the player has 20 30 minutes, he will not see the attack. The amount of time does not affect the ability to count branches. Ordering 30 minutes will not do any good. The player will look at the board and waste his time. It would be more useful to spend 15 minutes on puzzles and 15 minutes of pure time on a game (10+5)
But they still won't press that button. That's the problem. I don't know how to solve it.
I am too lazy to press that button.
15+10 is better than 10+5.
If you cannot puzzle storm at 5 seconds per puzzle, then 10+5 does not offer enough increment to win a won position.
15+10
It's a waste of time.
A beginner sits at the board and looks without thinking. He can't think endlessly. He doesn't know how to think yet. If a person is asked to translate a sentence from a foreign language, he will not be able to do it in a minute, or in 10 minutes, or in 30. Time does not affect the player’s knowledge and skills.
The player will take 15 minutes, but will lose in 2. The problem is in the player's brain. 10+5 is quite enough to see exactly where the player gets stuck.
Increasing the time will not improve the quality of play for beginners.
Yesterday I spent an hour explaining to one player that he had to take +5 to avoid the flag falling. Then I had to explain for another half an hour where this flag was. Can anyone write what this is? I can't find the right words.
