I'm tired of seeing these people posting about how all the old cool people started playing on lichess in 2022. Guess what? I'd already been registered here for over half a decade by then. I'd played more games than an Asteroids machine at a pizza restaurant. I had more followers than Mansa Musa himself! How do you like that, huh? Hell, before that, I'd been playing anonymously, back when EVERYONE on here was anonymous. That's not all though. At the dawn of time, when God was prepping his whole "creating existence" thing, I was there, toking from his Big Bong in the living room while Mrs. God was out shopping. And I told him: "Yo, G-Man-- you should set events in motion that will eventually lead to the creation of lichess. And you should have people pronounce it wrong. That would be hilarious, man!" That's right: I've been here since before the universe was created!
