Nice idea, but the types of positions and the coloring should be improved, I think! In the picture, pretty much any bishop move is fine. I chose Bc7-b6+ which was best, but on the right you can see three fine moves.
In another example, I got a hard puzzle wrong for not finding a winning move (Nc4, +2.0), and instead playing a "White-is-better" move, (Nb1, +0.8).
So how is this about blundering? That puzzle would be more about an old chess coach's adage, "winning a winning position," exemplified by an endgame tactic instead of trying to grind it out with one extra pawn.
As for the colors, you remade greenlight system like levels which doesn't make sense. Maybe do Green, Blue, Purple ? In life we're conditioned when Green, Yellow, Red appear near each other, then Yellow is "slow down", and Red is "stop". So it makes no sense to have it as levels in your app.
Anyway, it's an interesting idea, and maybe add board color choices!

Amazing tool, love the concept. I've improved a lot in my games from changing my attitude from finding brilliant moves to simply not blundering anything in the position.
You should definitely make this open source, a lot of us would love to contribute to it.

Small UX feedback: I want to be able to unselect a piece by clicking on it again, like I can on lichess.

Nice puzzles! I think it wouldn't really help me though as I can just take as much time as I want to analyze. In a game, especially if it's like say 10min rapid, you only have seconds to decide on a move though...
So, a nice feature would be a timer to see how long you took for each individual puzzle. And maybe a time limit, but I guess it would be hard to find a good value for that.

@fruitdealer2002 Great app, well done! Is this by any chance open source? I would like to look at the code and maybe even contribute.

This is exactly what I was looking for, thinking about, making if I ever learned coding, and needing.
