@chessKingmemer no you were not winning.
It was winning for white.
White internet was not that stable, that's why you won.
That is the main problem with online chess. Internet is the main requirement.
@IndianDoraemon can you not see that white just lost their queen lmao?
@chessKingmemer yes because white has not played tye best moves. You should not play f6

Have you realized that black is the one winning at the end? Literally, the white queen is trapped. To save itself, you have to play Qg5+. But Black now is winning because of the extra minor piece.
EDIT: Didn't see #4
@TheKingClash I know, but then that wouldn't be damiano defense. I've been meaning to explore the damiano defense. it seems to me that 3. Kxe5 may be overrated

so then they didn't lose bc of internet issues. They lost bc they played badly against a defense that has the reputation as being the worst defense in the game, for good reason. and then quit. also, technically they could save their queen, but it involves losing a piece

The mainline is 8.h4, after which white has a strong attack. I suggest you don't risk playing this line and stick to sensible development with 2...Nc6.
Technically, they deviated from the main line long before then, on move 3 for Black.
It's best to not even capture the knight. ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄

- e4 e5 2. Nf3 f6 3. Nxe5 Qe7

I can see players with White going Qh5+, with the idea of following it up with g6 into Nxg6.
But then Black just takes the Knight after Qxe4+
