please let me turn the arrows OFF

While I agree that ops posts are not very comprehensible it is strange that the arrows can't be switched off, like they can on the analysis board imho.

I always have them turned off even when I'm using the engine so I can empathize with op to a degree...

The analysis board in the puzzles page is the same of the one in the game page...

So you can turn of the arrows without turning of the engine when doing puzzles?

The burger menu is different and those options are missing when analyzing puzzles. That's probably what op was trying to complain about.

it's a valid complaint, but one that ride8hard can mitigate by setting lines to 0.

adding puzzle-centric options to its burger menu has been in the cards for awhile but nobody has gotten around to it yet. if an enterprising dev happens to be reading this...

Yeah, you can. I explained how in #2 and gamblej showed it in #10.

I agree it's not very intuitive, I myself had to go by attempts, it would be much better if there was an option that clearly says arrows on/off.

I should not pose rhetorical questions, sorry. You're correct of course.
Access to the same switches that are available on the analysis board would be nice, but I don't mind the way it is now.
