would it be possible for matches o be numbered so they can be more easily looked back at later ?

My reason for this is I like to look back at some of my matches and not others and make further notes against some of the games I look back at. For example, I have just written some notes against some of a series of 'matches' (opening 20 moves) I played against the computer but would like to make more and tidy them up later. But it will be very hard to find which game was which - a number would resolve this. If not a number at least a finish time perhaps ?

Maybe you could create a Study, https://lichess.org/study, and import your selected games as chapters in that Study. Then you could use descriptive names or numbers as the chapter titles.

Thanks and I can see this an option is but it is unnecessary steps ...I review most of my games and if I play alot against the computer especially it is hard to know which ones are which when I look back. It would be nice to have a number so that I can easily find a match that I decide I wish to look back on.

All games have a unique ID which is part of the URL.
