Contemplating the validity of someone who has played 20,000 games

Okay you guys. Everything is just running smoothly, perfectly, and exactly like face to face chess on this site and other internet chess sites. In fact, yo, perhaps no more face to face real chess, just remote chess.

I think the questionable behavior on this site is exactly that. That if it could happen it probably is, plausible or not.

My speed limit on my commute to work is 55. I drive 75 along with others, and yep others fly past me doing at least 95. And the police just watch, and stop people of color.

Many arguments can be plausible, down to the stats, but....

I think they are saying because some people, maybe most people, have a different opinion, everyone is blind and a sheeple.

My guess is the more games in an account, the less likely they are cheating. because if they were cheating, they would have been caught ages ago.

they are a lost soul. they've form a rock hard opinion not based on facts, evidence or data. if you don't agree that any account with 20000 games is AI, their opinion will get stronger, and they will come up with some conspiracy about gay frogs, false flags and speeding drivers.

at FICS there were a couple players with over 200,000 bullet games. some people just play a lot of chess.

I'm contemplating the validity of your opinion. It smells troll.

These people exist on Lichess as well. There's a leaderboard for the players with the most games: https://lichess.org/player

Some people are just addicted and with fast time controls, it adds up quickly. A hundred bullet games (1+0) only take roughly 3.5 hours. If you have nothing better to do and play that much every day, you already get 200k after a bit over 5 years. There are bound to be people who don't do much else and have a few hours to spare every day.

You have to scroll a bit, but it's there. I don't think there's a top 200 for it, though. It only shows the top 10.
