I've always found irrational numbers interesting particularly pi and phi. The idea that we can't calculate the exact circumference of a circle since we don't have an exact value for pi has always struck me as odd and counterintuitive.

It's psi, not phi

@PrashantSrikanth

No it is phi. The golden ratio approximately 1.618 pronounced fee. Phi has frequently been used in architecture and artistic composition going back to its use in early Greek architecture. Da Vincis famous drawing Vitruvian Man is also based upon the golden ratio.The Parthenon also incorporates phi in its design. At one time it was designated by the Greek letter tau but now the letter phi is used.
Closer to home the Taj Mahal also incorporates the golden ratio in its design. The ratio is 1:1.61 and is also found in nàture. Psi is also the conjugate of phi being equal to approximately .618 so perhaps that is where the difference arises. It is also true that phi was derived by ancient Indian mathematicians

I think a good gravitic force to experience on an exoplanet and play softball.
