I started with 1740 rating

Now apparently every player has every right move to win and I lose game after game after game I'm so discouraged with chess I've never seen anything like lichess where every player gets out of bad situations comes back and wins.Think I will find another activity to pass my time.

You started at 1682 and rose to a high point at 1759

Perhaps you were over rated in the mid 1700s?

Over time you will find a level where you win and lose roughly the same number of games. Thats how the rating system works.

Maybe you should. Players have good streaks, players have bad streaks. Ratings go up, ratings go down. Get used to it.

BTW, your last 25 games...10 wins, 14 losses, 1 draw. Hardly losing game after game.

Sometimes, it feels good to get it all out with a good cry...

Despite I can cry if I stop playing chess, I will always look at databases and check PGNs. I don't look at players emotions and thinking time. Yeah, I plan to follow chess world until I get very old and become a vegetable.

Every player wins!

This is a great place to be!

Losing streaks happen to every chess player... look at the game histories of top players and you'll see that your not alone. I have seen 2200 rated players with 10 game, 15 game losing streaks. (sidenote: I can't win a game when playing in the Saturday night time slot... Every Saturday night I get killed... strangest thing.) Don't give up. Have fun.

Sorry you're having an off day. It happens to us all. Rest and come back in a better mood. Regarding your opponents finding every right move to win, I hope you're not implying people are cheating because this (your most recent game) is not a suspicious performance by White.

It doesn't get easier as you climb, your opponents will find more and more good moves so yeah, you should leave while you're ahead!
