Five Reasons Why You Should Try Atomic Chess

I don't think professional chess players should spend time on such a distant variant of chess. For example, KOTH or 3+ that I sometimes play are close to chess.

I'm not arguing that Atomic is fun and it's quite good for entertainment.

Why not? Atomic prioritizes searching for tactics and comebacks from horrible positions, things which are valuable in normal chess.
There are players like FIDE master @Statham_13 who is among the few chess masters who are good at every variant, not just limiting themselves to normal chess.

I don't argue that Atomic gives this high priority, but it operates under a completely different logic. When I played a lot in KOTH, I started playing chess terribly, so playing variants a little is quite fine, but if you play too much, you will become a weaker chess player.

again no, if anything it makes you stronger. An obsessive focus probably does worsen your normal chess skill, but it's always up to you to decide when and where to draw the line.

When I started playing Atomic, my standard ratings went up by a lot
