I'm afraid we don't think of the same think, or do we ? ;)))

Well, the hottest day in my life was when I saw her for the first time. Shinning on the beach, tanned by the sea air and the sun, lying on the sand. My blood got cold and I was astonished by the beauty.

It was a 2 euros coin ! At the beach, a coin of 2 euros, like brand new !!!

Minnesota is a landlocked state from the U.S.A, so thus we don’t get assistance from the sea to cool our state down; resulting in some absolutely absurd temperatures. Last year it hit 42 celsius, the hottest it’s ever been. I fried an egg on the driveway for funzies!

Edit: The windchill was 42 celsius, in reality it was about 39 celsius.

It was 113 two days in a row here once (amazing because it's the northern California coast). And I remember it was 112 in Palm Springs one of the days I was down there way back when.

In all of the days of my (admittedly pretty short) life, I have never been hot, no. But thanks for asking

Wow, this thread is not what I thought it was gonna be about

The hottest weather I ever experienced was 107 degrees fahrenheit (41.6) when I was in Texas in 2005. The hottest it has ever been for me in the Seoul metro area has been 38.

I have this observation for you...

The dry heat of Texas was really from the sun. It was nuts to walk or run outside with the sun beating you down... But I recollect getting some shade and feeling instant relief.

Whereas, a 35 degree day in Seoul with 90%+ humidity is just constantly oppressive. Shade does nothing to relieve anyone. You just have to go inside or wait for the rain.

I sometimes joke about how unbearable it can be...

You walk two blocks to the subway and already your underwear has turned into a swamp, and then you go right into the blasting cold of a subway car trying to cool the place to 16 degrees and within 5 minutes you are shivering.
