There's nothing to ask them. The opposite is true. This is his big chance to learn that being too accurate for your rating has nothing to do with evaluating whether someone is a cheater.

"where i think that my opponent is cheating..." This is just a guess and not a proof. If you suspect cheating, you can report it to lichess. But if nothing happens, the person hasn't cheated. Just because you suspect that a person has cheated and lichess does nothing after reporting, you cannot claim that Lichess has bad cheat detection.

Quiet in the cheap seats!
No offence, but your opinion is worth exactly what we paid for it.

I program
not as a hobby, but for a living i assume. i can spot a seasoned professional like yourself from a mile away. for example, an easy tell is your evaluation of the performance of an algorithm using sophisticated tools like your gut feeling; and your use of precise assessments like "never", as well as technical terms like "suck".
i sure hope a humble open source project like lichess will be able to afford your valuable services.

Yesterday they disabled this account stating that the player cheated >>> https://lichess.org/@/Ice_King123/all
GO look at any or all of the games he played and you will see that there is no way cheating took place. The amount of blunders is too high and also he has lost badly to nearly all players higher rated.
Lichess algorithm is picking up people that have not cheated at all! And I hope they reinstate that account because the 10 year old child feels very shaken up about it.

@HustlinHarper You don't know whether they cheated. Looking at some games is meaningless since you can get banned for just a few games. Lichess mods have far more information than you to make an accurate decision.
And I'm sure people that just got caught cheating would be equally shaken.
Anyway, keep things like this to lichess.org/appeal. Posting in the forums won't change anything.

I have no comment on the effective anti-cheat or not, but I want to say this: It should be easier to report, as in "Can you please check if this guy is honest or not" should be enough of a report. I can't really justify a claim he or she is a cheater but I do play alot and sometimes I get a hunch, so far (this year alone) I've gotten 20+ positive feedback the guy I reported was a cheater at chess.com.
My reports are not elaborate and/or intricate, I ask them to check a guy out and they do. So far I've had great success with my hunches.
